Sat. July 11 Alexandria Birthday Celebration!

(Concession Stand Fundraiser) Volunteers needed! Here are shifts: Set-Up: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. ; Shift 1: 4:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Shift 2: 8:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Break-Down: 10:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. This festival is a co-celebration of America’s Independence Day along with the founding of the City of Alexandria. This year, the celebration will be held at Oronoco Bay Park, the site of the Alexandria Red Cross Waterfront festival. The Jaycees usually sell Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Bratwurst, Sodas, and Chips.  In years past, the event has raised from $500 on up. With good weather, we would hope to meet or exceed that amount this year! Please contact Lillian at for more information.

Sunday July 19 The Alexandria Jaycees Charter Picnic

Charter Picnic – Noon-4:00 PM.  Ft. Hunt Park, June 28, picnic area D-001.  Help us celebrate the charter of our chapter in Alexandria! This is a potluck picnic. Please bring the following, based on what your last name starts with:  A-E: Desserts | F-J: Salads | K-O: Meats (to serve 8) | P-S: Rolls (to serve 8) | T-Z: Chips/Snacks. Thursday July 23 The Jaycees' Bar Decathalon!

Next stop on the Bar Decathalon--The Flying Fish Restaurant! 7 PM. Meet us at the Flying Fish Restaurant at 815 King St # A
