Camp Virginia Jaycee

Every child should have mud pies, grasshoppers, water bugs, wild strawberries, trees to climb, brooks to wade in, rocks to roll, sand, and campfires - and any child who has been deprived of these has been deprived of the best part of his education.

At Camp Virginia Jaycee, children and adults with special needs get to do all of that - at no or low cost! Every Jaycee chapter in the state of Virginia helps raise money each year to sponsor campers (see our shameless request to the left!), and we trek to the Blue Ridge Mountains twice a year to help get the Camp ready for new camping seasons.

Camp Virginia Jaycee is a year round residential outdoor recreation and educational facility for children and adults with special needs. The Camp, a 501 (c) 3 organization, is located on 90 acres in Bedford, Virginia.
