Winemaking revealed! Join us on March 16, 2008 in Linden, VA on the east slope of the Blue Ridge mountains for wine tasting - with a twist! We will have the opportunity to taste wines at different stages of fermentation, and learn about the process of winemaking. Reservations are required; rates below are per person. Travel

We will carpool to Linden, VA to the east slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains to visit the Fox Meadow Winery, for a couple of hours between 1:30-4:30 PM (carpool leaves approx. 12 PM), location 4875 Eisenhower Avenue. Contact Sharon for more information. Note: if you provide a ride for 2 additional people in your car the Jaycees will provide a flat amount to offset the cost of gas.

More about the Winery

Three wines offered by Fox Meadow Winery in 2006 were awarded medals. The 2002 Cabernet Franc and the 2004 Syrah received gold medals in the 14th annual Towne Point competition and the 2005 Pinot Grigio won a bronze medal in the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition.
